The most annoying I've run across so far have been the Iron Horse Mine quests from Rangil. It wouldn't be so bad if he'd just move a couple feet into the zone or give all quests at once.

I hate the quests/missons where "GLF Monk" "GLF 2 Monks" and "GLF (fill in the blank) - already have 2 monks" is spammed incessantly while you still cant get into a party after 20 minutes.
They really should give other characters some better healing ability.

Weird thing about that quest, I cleared out every creature in the area and was still completely unable to find the flute...

The most annoy quest, Sorrow's Furnace quest (High Prist Alkar, Orozar and Final Assault). Finding people for those quests are nearly impossible not mention have to deal with people spamming (WTS [green item]) on the public channel instead on trade channel plus more spam from obsessed farmers for green item. I wish they nerf farming at warcamp somehow, at least I hope those obsessed farmers stay at Warcamp when Factions release so I won't have to deal with farmers in Cantha.

First: Help the dwarfs
runner up: blood and smoke (at least this quest gives you a nice xp reward that helps you level up)
the last hog was the funniest quest in gw so far. true it got a little anoying when that ** pig was turning in a wierd direction, but at least you had to use your brain a little in order to find out how to direct the pig.
there was also a damn anyoing quest in the north mountains, where you had to kill a certain boss monster that was surrounded with three or four of those doyak-master elefant type mob who can make this big stamp that interrupts and you fall down.even with me being lvl 20 and henchies from yakes bend, i went to -60% and would have dropped even more before finally killing the boss.
I HATE INTERRUPT!

Figuring out how to herd the hog is not difficult ... but the pure fact that it is aggrivating that a great hero or heroine should be forced to herd livestock is downright insulting I do, however, enjoy the fact that your accept quest line is "Sure, i've got nothing better to do."
Also, I have not noticed where learning how to herd a hog has been of use elsewhere in the game.

This was my runner up, such a long hike and filled with devourers ... who are, arguably, the most annoying monster-type in the game.

Yeah, any related quests that require you to fight through an area you just fought through, just because you have to leave a zone to talk to someone, are poorly designed, IMO. A game is supposed to be fun. Having someone repeat what they just did isn't fun. So I don't do the iron horse mine quests one after the other. I do the first, do other stuff, do the second, etc. It's still poorly designed, though, along with any others like that (Blood and Smoke is another one).

Sure I'll revive a dead thread cause I'm just that bored . . .
Yeah, that hog one in Kryta was pretty annoying since I got the damned thing to about 10 yards of the farmer only to have it get stuck between two fences. Had to wait a while for it to finally come out, then the damned henchies scared it right back in there! Arrrrrggggghhhhh!
Tonight, though, I have had a couple of disasterous attempts at doing the bonus mission for Divinity Coast. First time through no one had a clue how many villagers you had to tote with you. Ok fine, learn from your mistakes.
next time through someone said there were four we had to get. Found the 4 only to have them poison themselves to death in the swamps while our healer ran around picking up loot.
Ok, 3rd time through a dude who claimed he'd done the mission several times told us there were 5 villagers. Found all 5 and we were careful going through the poisoned swamp and then . . . I lost connection with an error 007 message.
Damn near cried.

Also QFT.
Also, I nominate Vizunah Square. KEKEKE AFFLICTED RUSH+that asinine locked gate thing in Factions= SUCKS ASS. The quest to get there is even worse, with that huge mob of Afllicted camping out right by the entrance...

Red Cloaked Deserters. It's pure drudgery babysitting that idiot back to The Wall from Pockmark Flats, what with his slow speed and devourers every two steps. It's the only factions quest which I simply wont do.
Factions have given me many more hate-quests, though. "Luxury Goods" and "Passing the buck" are nearly as annoying as Red Cloaked Deserters.

Undead. Hordes. I do this quest with all my characters (for the skills) at level 20 and they still die like 5-10 times doing it and most likely failing. The quest is WAY too hard for the level you're supposed to be when you get there. Wave after wave after endless waves, that keep getting bigger and bigger. And as you and your henchies die (and they will die) their undead Minion Masters just get stronger and stronger.
The funniest thing is...they made this quest HARDER since release, I do believe. Pretty sure the last wave used to not always involve an UNDEAD LICH..but it does now (pretty old update). I just find it absurd that they made a strikingly horrid quest even tougher on the poor little nublings that make their way there.
That aside, I enjoy THE PIGGY QUEST! OMG <3's. It takes true skill to maneuver a hog. That quest used to not always attract Ettins to you also hehe. But I agree on buffing that difficulty. In no time at all I was a Hog Master, if you will, and the 2 skills and 1k exp from the reward seemed like taking candy from a baby.
As for the bigger, badder, and more rewarding quests. I'd say for the most part they are quite cool. Adds some spice to the game to take your buddies and form a mighty team to go beat up the titans or destroy the robot in SF or what have you. They're not necessary and certainly unique and rewarding.
